About the role

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Education Support Officer to be part of a professional learning team that can support our students and contribute to the positive culture of our school.

Position to commence in Term 2 2024. Monday to Thursday but days are negotiable.

The interview process may commence before the closing date and, if a suitable applicant is found, the role may close early. We encourage applications for the vacancy to be submitted as soon as possible.

Applicants need to:

  • demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School
  • support students, especially those who have additional learning needs and adjustments in accessing the curriculum
  • work under the direction of the classroom teacher, within flexible learning spaces

Special Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have:

  • Experience working in schools as an ESO
  • Working With Children Check
  • Certificate 11 (or higher qualification) in Education Support
  • Current Level 11 First Aid or willingness to gain qualification
  • Extra qualifications eg. Certificate 1V in Disability, an advantage
