St.Vincent de Paul Primary School, Morwell East is a proud learning community.

The school has 210 engaged students and is richly blessed with a proud community that is diverse and exciting. Following in the mission of Jesus to love one another, we live the school-wide expectations of respect, responsibility, resilience and safety.

The school community is currently structured into ten composite classes across our newly opened classrooms. The most extensive building program in our school’s history was completed mid-2023 which has provided beautiful, tech-rich learning spaces. Our building project also had a deliberate focus on creating the optimal of employee facilities with a variety of spaces for staff to work and relax. Our teams work collaboratively, planning together and supporting each other to ensure the best outcomes for our students in an exciting professional environment. We nurture and support our current and future leaders, placing high regard on post-graduate studies. We value colleagues who are passionate, keen to learn and wish to develop their expertise.

Our school is committed to ensuring our students are safe and engaged in their learning. Our staff work collaboratively to plan, enact learning opportunities and assess the impact of their teaching. The school community has experienced staff ready to support new team members.

Our staff demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. We welcome applicants with experience working within Catholic Education but also give a commitment to warmly welcoming new staff from other sectors or non-education backgrounds.

This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children therefore all new staff must have the valid VIT or WWCC credentials appropriate to their role.
