About the role

St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. St Peter's College offers a rich and relevant curriculum in a modern learning environment which provides every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

For the commencement of the 2025 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Sports Manager, based at our Cranbourne Campus.

Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered. 

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about leadership and have the capability to inspire their team with innovative leadership, contemporary teaching and learning.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has experience with the coordination of SIS (Southern Independent Schools) sports activities or the coordination of a similar scale sporting program.
  • Creates an environment where maximum student participation in sporting activities is achieved
  • Works collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to ensure the promotion of SIS Sports at the College.
  • Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent in digital technologies. 

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.


In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 January 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $78,801 – $116,894. The POL allowance for the Sports Manager is $6,264.
