The position

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to make a difference in the lives of students and educators? Loreto Toorak is looking for an outstanding IT professional to join us as IT Manager. Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation, you will lead a team of IT specialists and play a pivotal role in ensuring our school’s digital infrastructure is secure and effective, supporting the entire school community in delivering outstanding education for girls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and align ICT strategies with the school’s strategic plan
  • Deliver a contemporary suite of highly functional, secure digital assets and services in a cost effective and considered way
  • Use deep technical experience to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems, ensuring security and reliability
  • Lead, motivate and develop the ICT team, fostering a productive and positive working environment, driving optimal outcomes for the school
  • Ensure effective management of ICT initiatives, delivering projects on time and within budget to minimise disruptions
  • Partner with stakeholders to achieve timely and responsive outcomes

About You

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical proficiency, particularly in server infrastructure, network architecture, and security. Your user-centred approach and innate curiosity will underpin all interactions with stakeholders and your team. As an experienced manager, you thrive in environments where you can mentor and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and service delivery excellence. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are essential, along with a valid Working with Children (Employee) check.
